I'm going to be a Jabbawockee!

Orrrrr maybe I'm trying to clear up my skin with Queen Helene Mint Julep Masque. I've never tried a mask before. I'm starting to have a couple problem areas in between the middle of my eyebrows and near the right side of my chin. I've been using Mario Badescu drying lotion but, I want something to work STAT.

After reading Ailene's post about skin care, I decided to try a mask and Clean&Clear Persa-gel 10. I'll let you know if it works. I won't gross you guys out buy posting a before picture with pimples galore. I'll definitely post an after picture if my skin clears up.

By the way, that picture above was my best attempt at smiling. Those masks harden up quick. I feel like this mask makes my lips look bigger and really enhance (might not be the right word for what I'm about to say) the unevenness of my eyes. My left eye looks bigger than my right eye. This is not a spot the stuff wrong with Marjorie's face game either, haha. I'll be getting comments like it's not JUST your eyes that look crazy but also your (insert other facial feature here)....

doesn't that mask feel minty? let me know how you like it...i alternate between that mask and the st. ives clay mask. that clean&clear treatment is strong...it dries up the patch of skin i put it on, but the pimple goes away faster.

btw, i've been attempting to try the CG method but i can never last more than a day! haha. plus i think i'm overconditioning during the scrunching part so my hair feels more weighed down as it should be. i'll stick to it for another couple of days though and let you know the results.

ps. i have to take you to Wegman's next time you visit. you'll LOVE it...so many organic beauty products all in one place...

Anonymous: Thanks again. Such a loyal reader.

jjavier: Yes, I've been told that many times.

A.Rose: I think I need to get Jaylon a new Va Tech outfit. His old one is too small now. And I think I should get Giselle one.

Yeah that mask is minty. I like how it feels. I started using the Ly-Na cream too. I prefer the Queen Helene mask because you don't have to wear it overnight but, I kept on reading too many reviews about how great the Ly-Na cream was.

I'm having problems with over-conditioning which I think is weighing down my hair. You might be having the same problem too. I actually made a post about how I changed my routine because of it but, I haven't posted it yet.

eeks! don't use the ly-na pearl cream anymore. a fellow blogger did some research and found that it contains mercury..among other things. here's the link: http://withadriyah.blogspot.com/2008/12/beauty-review-ly-na-pearl-cream.html

A.Rose: At first I wasn't able to click on that link because it was asking me for a username and password but, I just hit cancel and I was able to view the page.

I was a little bit worried about what could be bad about the Ly-na cream but, I couldn't find any bad reviews. Thanks for that link. I'm glad that I have an excuse NOT to use it because I didn't like how I had to leave it on overnight but, wanted the results like everyone else was having. At least I'm only out 4 bucks. I think I might have a fake one because I someone said the fake creams have a gold ring around the top of the cap.

lolz. i've always wanted to try a mask. hmmm. how does it feel?

Blueberry: It feels minty and you can't really move your face around that much. It's not uncomfortable though. You can still do things while you wait for the mask to dry. It takes about 15 minutes.
